TODAY AT SIXTEENHUNDREDHOURS:
Husband and Wife are hitting the snowy road for their first family trip together.
Benjamin and I are driving up to Placerville {near Idaho City} to stay at the family cabin 'till Sunday. We are on a quest for the perfect Christmas tree. If this weekend goes well, we are hoping to make this a
Newlywed Swensen Family Tradition {NSFT}.
We've got cabin food coming along with us, but unfortunately, minimal toiletries...
{Benjamin dropped the bad news that there would be no running water. I reminded him that I signed up for winter CABIN not winter CAMPING... to no avail.}
We are equipped with snow-shoes to trudge up into the woods, find the next temporary addition to our family, chop it down, and truck it home - where it will be loved and beautified until December 27th. As newlyweds, we are only readymatureoldresponsible enough for temporary family additions... ones that we don't have to be accountable for keeping alive for longer than a few weeks.
Wish us luck on our snowy adventure!
I am packing lots of cute wintery snow bunny outfits while my husband his bringing is ratty jeans
{He’s so practical}
We'll be ready for anything!
