chapter 19: STREET LIGHTS, EVEN STOPLIGHTS

Last night, I picked Benjamin up from work around 8:30 pm. He opened my car door and thanked me for letting him drive. I smiled, got into the passenger seat and awaited his next move. He was taking me on an adventure!
One which required a quick stop at Starbucks for a caramel hot chocolate
and a blanket stashed in the back seat {mmm}

We drove through far-away neighborhoods till we arrived at a culdesac I had never been to before. Parked, turned on the radio to a specific station, snuck in the back with me, blanket and hot cocoa.

This is what I beheld {jaw open and "wow"s a-plenty}

My husband did good. Really good. A wonderful Christmas surprise!

It was a half hour show, on repeat. We celebrated with a good make-out in the back seat.
