It's that time again. Last year it was mama and me - this year, we raced as husband and wife. Even part of the way we raced holding hands. Susan G Komen Race for the Cure is set for every May. Those interested in helping find the cure for breast cancer in the Boise area gather together Saturday morning to run a 5K. We were close to the front of the 1,000's of athletes, and did the 5K in 32 minutes {Ben let me set the pace}. We ran the entire race and felt like full-fledged athletes when little kids at the half way mark handed us cups of water. Ben splashed his cup all over his face and head and yelled "yeah!". We were basically celebrities.
The event was a blast and we loved running together.
