chapter 43: BIRTHDAY BOY BEN

Last month, our dear family and friends gathered to celebrate Husband Ben! He turned 23! I actually got out of bed on time {of not a little early} to surprise the birthday boy with cinnamon rolls and donuts for breakfast with a heart shaped napkin after his shower. I then dropped him off at school {as usual} and instead of going to work, like he thought, I went back home and decorated the apartment and got our home ready for festivities. SURPRISE!

I home-made party crowns for everyone, and of course, a prestigious crown for the birthday-King. The house was buzzing with laughter, birthday songs, cheering as gifts were opened, delicious food being consumed and the *WACK* *BANG* of the pinata crashing in the back yard.

Our niece, Sophie, made it her mission during the party to coax the kitty out from under the bed.
