chapter 71: LAST DAY IN PARIS

Oh man did we sleep in! It was about 10 AM when we groggily awoke, showered, packed, and started our last load of laundry. That relaxing morning was much needed! We packed, cleaned, dresesd and set out to see all of our favorite sites one last time.

Goodbye Notre Dame.
Goodbye Arc d'Triomph.
Goodbye Eiffel Tower.
Goodbye Quick.

{pausing to wait out the rain...}

We took the metro home after a very solomn day to collect our bags and drop off our key at the main office.

Goodbye House.
Goodbye Dominos.
Goodbye France.

Subway ride... waiting patiently... chocolate eclaire... a puking child in the train station... figuring out the couchette on the train. We laid quietly on our beds and headed to Milan.

Funny #1
on one of our walks, my highlight was watching Ben flex his muscles in a mirror as we walked by and then walked right into a pole as he was distracted by his awesomeness. Cute boy.

Funny #2
We could not find a pillow the entire time we stayed there. We  resorted to making our own pillow out of our clothes, a stuffed hippo, and extra sheets, only to find a whole stack of pillows under the bed on the last day as we packed up. Nice.
