To celebrate winter in all it's cold glory {and also to celebrate our wedding monthaversary}, Benjamin and I drove up to McCall for the Winter Festival! We began by just walking around, following the display signs that said "free". We each got a cup of {free} hot chocolate, {free} chocolatechip cookies, and {free} entertainment in the form of street performers, and of course, the ice sculptures. There weren't as many ice sculptures as we had imagined, but the ones there were truly spectacular. We made our one necessary purchase of a cinnamon roll the size of our heads and over over ate. It was a quick trip, but wonderful to get away and spend some time adventuring together!
